Tires size

Post by Meanie »

As most may know, on my 93, the tire size is 185/65r14 . Recently, brand new Goodyear tires with excellent treadwear, traction, temp and 660 rating where given to me. THe only problem is, they are 175/65r14. Therefore, I ask....are there any major consequences or a potential for future problems if I use these tires? THe only thing I can think of with such a small difference from 185 to 175 would be a slight difference with my speedometer, which then makes me believe there may be a increasing error reading on the overall mileage.

All feedback appreciated.

Thanks

They're 1 cm narrower and 65% of that width narrower.
