REAR TAIL LIGHTS FUSE BLOWING!!

I had the same problem with a few different Mazda's. Like the dimmer wire, when putting aftermarket stereos in. The problem was using the stock ground wire. I had to make a new one. Maybe if you disconnected the stereo, and tried it, see if it makes a difference.

That's usually caused by using the car's dimmer wire as the radio's ground. This is a common mistake that people make, because the wire shows ground until you turn on the parklights. Then it's positive, and shorts out through the deck.

Thanks for all your input, removed the radio today, found what looked like a spiders web behind it. Lights now work fine, will have to rewire the radio , may even treat it to a new one
