How would Tokico HP + GC coilover be for track use?

Post by Whisper »

Looking to have some adjustable suspension for the next season, so I can go stiff for track days. I have H&R springs right now, and they're nice but could be better. So I'm thinking if I slip some Ground Controls on my blues I might be able to stiffen the suspension some more without dumping too much money into full coilovers. Or is that a rubbish combo?

Also, what spring rates would be decent for mix of daily driving and track use? And would Tokico HP's be able to handle higher spring rates?

Thanks.

I would say they would be a perfect setup. Go to the Ground Control site. They have recomendatuons depanding on the type of strut you are using. they are fairly good with that. I would say a higher spring rate in the rear.

I'm already getting a stiffer rear swaybar, would I run the risk of overcompensating with higher spring rates in the back?

It doesn't seem like they offer various spring rates for front and rear with this setup.

Is this the correct kit?
