Mazda MX3s are a piece of freaking gar

Post by Juans_93_MX3 »

Mazda MX3s are a piece of freaking garage worthy cars. After driving the 88 Honda CRX HF for a week, I am REALLY GLAD I kept my MX3 even after just doing a Water Pump job.
Im selling my CRX to someone already, I could kiss that piece of garbage off. It was a fun car but not as fun as my MX3.

After driving both cars, I still cant believe the MX3 never did so well. But hey, neither did Jettas.

Handling, looks, interior and everything else make the MX3>>>>>>CRX

Mazda did a good job. Except for the reliability (stupid Ford)

Oh yeah, just recieved my Fidanza Flywheel, KLZE, Magnaflow Muffler. I already got everything for the 5speed swap. Only things left to get is get the exhaust piping completed (2.5) and ACT HDSS Clutch. WOOT WOOT!

Another dumb post by you. But i will give you credit cuz its a good one.

Glad to see you have your parts for the swap. and I like that your getting an HDSS clutch...I know i've treated YOU like a idiot at times. but if you need help with anything to do with swaps just feel free to ask.I've done more than a few klze swaps...

But I am sorry I have to say a CRX with a good upgraded suspeniosn will out handle our car in every way. also put a b18c/c5 and it will take it in every way too. as for the k20a swaps..lets not even go there. Thats only been done like 4 times in total and is freakin suicidal death machine to drive.

K20 CRXs have been done waaay more than 4 times. Theres alot in the NYC metro area. There must be at least 5 here alone at the racing spot around me. Theres even more EG and EKs with K20 and K24 swaps. They haul a-- like no other Honda.

More like a e-stalker by replying to every one of my threads on MX-3.com and Probetalk.com aswell

But anyway, K20 swap vs. KLZE.

I wonder how much money, work and time a K20 swpa on a Honda would take. For that money you can probably do KLZE + turbo on MX3

I think we all think it's "freaking garbage" on the title.

For the price you definitely can do an MX-3 w/ KLZE Turbo and have change left over. But it still wont be as fast as the K CRX w/o turbo at a track. Maybe you can take one on the highway though. Those things run low to mid 12s at the track, theres still only 2-3 MX-3s on this site that are turbo and run that time, if even that.

reliability problems? well Ive replaced disty, oil changes, brake pads, cv joint, timing belt/pump. Pretty much everything you need to do to any other car as the mileage goes up. Still drives like new. If I want more power, kl-ze will be going in. K8 still running strong at 90K original miles.
