IT PASSED !

Post by JWMX3 »

YES !

the good ol mx3 made me proud today

by passing its etest... with NO CAT :D

Now theres a bit of a catch here, as if it was run at 40kph on the dyno it probably would of failed ..... but I ran a 2 speed idle test which is normally just done for AWD cars or cars with traction control you cant turn off

still surprised the hell outa me

:D

edit- I also found a horsepower test on the drive clean machine at work and ran my car

soo inaccurate its useless, lol

supposedly my 2.5 makes 75 horsepower and 297 ft/lbs , LOL

How did you get them to do the 2-speed idle test? Mine was done that way because she wouldn't get onto the rollres, but if you "dyno'd" yours, you must of...

I have my drive clean licence.. so i did the test myself :)

but the dyno i use is not the above ground kind with ramps going up, so i never had a problem getting a lowered car on the rollers... mine is down 2" front and it was fine
