Drags aug 26 tires worked!

Post by hgallegos915 »

I was able to trap 95 mph and once 97. Tried diff shifting techniques .

Overall a good turn out. My friend john was there.

Here are the races.

I raced my friends civic we raced for the hell of it because my car was shutting down on its own (fixed)

raced a vw 1.8 turbo i guess vr6? Won by a few cars.

Raced a white 4 door lexus v6 , won around half a car.

A silver honda s2000 I had him at the line but for no reason he shut down in third gear.. maybe he would have gotten me.

I raced john, i won by like 2 cars however he swears his car is stock.. but dayumm he is super fast for being stock!

A nissan altima. I won.

Thats about it. but it was fun.. the line was long but i got some good runs. Met some cool people. It was the best drags session yet.

I think next time i go ill be turbo by then.

and the Volkswagon 1.8 Turbo wouldn't be a vr6

vr6 is a 2.8L V6 its a very close nagle v6 and only has one cylinder head. its a very unique design.

the car you speak of is refered to as 1.8T ista 1.8L 20valve 4cylinder turbizzle. There i think 140-160hp oit of the box.

negative my friend. This is at a closed airport landing strip with the race tree lights. its a ghetto strip. Tines are only there on fridays.

Hec ... dont make fun of us ... but we pay 10 Euros ( 15$us) just to watch the dragracing in the Estoril Track ...
Then can pay 30$us to dragrace in the straight without times ...
We pay 90$us to get 1/2 hour on the track :?
So dont tell me that's expensive ( I am a computer tech and earn 800 euros a month (1200$us) ... )
