hey guys i got a quick ? i was at the junk yard yesterday andi was about to pull out a good looking bp motor out of a 94 and up protege and notice that they have different motor mounts i was wonder if i pull it will i have to custumize anything to get it in my 92 sohc mx3 aka the beast! lol and i wanted to kno does anyonehave a pix of the bp that is found in the kias! cuz i thought i found one but i really dont wanna go pull somethingandcant use it cuz im happy wit my baby motor cuz i do get my win in races out here but i tried of my friends gettin on me cuz im so slow! lol

are you going to use ur tranny fton the sohc it will bolt up to the bp.. thank no u need nothing..

if ur usingthe bp g-series trans than u'll neeed the clutch flywheel top trans mount..

no i done a lot of reseach on this website and learned alot form you limegreen but wat im goin to do is by the motor then by the tranny because stupidly i broke my first tranny and not knowing what i kno today i spent 2g's on a rebuilt tranny and broke it again i no that was dumb now! but are you sayin i can use the 94 and up motor with my motor mounts i kno i need the top tranny mount?

90 to 94 protege , 91-95 escort GT/ Will have the motor you will need.

The front and rear tranny mount brackets are different then the F series tranny( which is on the 1.6L) brackets. You will also need the top right tranny mount too.

Best bet is to go with the G series tranny if you can afford it.

no no money isnt the problem for me to pull the motor its 150 and i can get a bp tranny for 100 so thats all good but its getin really hard to find a protege 90 94 and its easy to find 94 up you think it will bolt right up thankz in advance guys

Car-Parts.com Has the BP. The 95 plus is I believe OBDII wiring and your MX is OBDI
