But at the price of $169.. a bit too much.. way cool that it auto detects what gear your shifting into though :)

That is sooo sweet! I want it!

I want to get a new shift knob...hmmm :)

Hmm, you sure that's what it does?

I would buy that but I can't stand the aftermarket knobs that use the three allen screws to keep it steady... it never works for me. I guess I really grab the knob hard when I shift...

Unless it screws down on the shifter I don't care what it does!

ya i hate the aftermarket shift knobs as well. i once baught one and as i was driving i guess the glue that was holding the shift knob and the mounting flange on the shifter gave out and i was shifting without a knob untill i got home.

wat u can do is add a couple of layers of masking tape around the top part of the shift stick till the knob fits on nice and tight
then jus slip on the shift knob and screw it in place
the screws embed themselves into the tape for a stronger hold.

it doesnt know what gear you're in like the person said above it just tells when you should shift to get good gas mileage...so really this shift knob isnt very cool
