Hy, im from Croatia and my english is not so good...
I have DD 9515f and Hifonics Atlas ax4000d runing on 0.5ohm, and my score on TL is 147.9db on 52hz and 148.7db on 57hz but with opend door. Every one tell me that with this equipment i must hit 150+ , but i dont have right box, and no one who is going to db drag in Croatia dont have mx3 so no one cant help me with building the box for that car. I changed 5 boxes and nothing. Can enyone gime some advice or dimensions of some SPL box for mazda mx3. This is some pictures of my setup:

I suggest you read this thread. I am now hitting 150.2 on the dash at db drag with the TL meter and 152.6 at usac on the floor with the TL meter.

I suggest you turn that box so it fires to the rear and remove the rear seat and mount it so that the edge of the box is even with the edge of the rear spare tire well.

ok this is gonna probably be a n00b-ish question, but what is the speaker on the left (the first pic).

I know the right one is a sub (looks like 12-inch), but idk what the heck the one the left is :oops:

Its not a speaker its an aero port. His is a ported enclosure.

Quick question, but is there any benefit to having the port flare out like that? Or can it just be a straight edge?

Yes it can net you higher DB at the cost of port whistle. Mainly good for SPL. I personally don't use them as I use superior box tuning to make up the difference.
