problems starting up please help!!!!!!

hi everyone, <P>i am having problems getting my 92 mx-3 to start the inly way it will start is to hold the gas to the floor and it still takes a while then, has anyone had this problem and if so what can i do to fix it?? any help is greatly appreciated. <P>thanks,<BR>Brandy

actually I was just wondering if it could be the fuel pump going bad on it i dont know how to test it.<BR>

i had the same problem. i found out it was a vaccum leak , i don;t know if that will help<BR>mine was on the intake <BR>good luck
