hard to shift..g tranny..

ya..a just put a bp engine in my 96 mx3...(totaly kick a--)..but over 3500 rpm..this hard to shift in to gear...below 3500 rpm..hard..but not so hard....put fresh oil..75w90...the thing a though..i put a bully clutch..a sport clutch...(70 % improved)...and the builder.(bully) said a got the road test the clutch around 3000 km...before doing hard shift or play-it like it suppose....could that be...
