doors won't stay locked

Post by timexim »

Yeah it's weird, I lock the doors and the second I close the door the immediatly unlock. It happens from both sides. Any ideas?

Hold the outside handle up when you are closing the door, or lock the door from the outside with the key.

This was a safety measure built into the car by Mazda to help you prevent locking your keys in the car.

lol. now I feel like a moron. I had a feeling there was a trick to it. Oh well, still lots for me to learn about my MX-3. So much different than the Sentra's I use to be addicted to.
