we need a cool kick arse welcome page

we should have a welcome page consisted of intros of mx3's on the track or at car shows. and the pages should be a little brighter.

eh splash or "intro" pages are not a good idea. Originally they were great ideas because they would tell you the minimum system requirements and or settings you would need to run the website. Now they are just flash movies that actually become quite annoying. They would only appealing to users who are new and not to the entire community. Waiste of time, not to mention the costly amount of band width it would take up to constantly show each time someone came the site.

I would agree that the "black" theme is actually not a good design idea based on basic web design, but as it has sorta become the style of the mx-3.com website i think it works. the only thing i would opt for in this case is the ad on that allows the user to setup how he wants his version of mx-3.com to look. But then again any imagery that uses a black background to make sure it flows with mx-3.com would look bad and would have to be customized.

Idk about a flashy new main page but maybe a little face lift would be nice something a little different i know im a new member but have used this site on and off for a year now its great. Keep up the GREAT work.

A new front page isnt needed.. but I would love the forum pagess to be a different color combination than the black w/ red & white.. My boss spots that combo easy now and gets on my case for "doing car stuff" on his dime LOL

I know that a new main page isnt NEEDED but sometimes a little change is nice and i do second your opinoin on the forum change i think that might not be a bad idea.
