No actually, I bought it new in April of 1993 as the replacement for my previous company car.

Dang and I thought I was one of the only active members that's owned an MX the longest. Well almost, I think Tom "Precidian" bought his new in 95 and I bought my 92 about a month before (July 95) Tom got his. I thought Vaughn no longer kept his MX though?

Yeah I still have my MX-3 it's in storage for the past 18 years but still registered and streetable.

I'm currently converting my steering wheel over as well. I've been taking lots of pictures to post in the worklogs section so anyone can view. I'm using the factory Cruise Control Cicuit Board but running leads from it to my new contacts that I will mount on the steering column housing. Keep you posted

Here's what I did with mine:

All you do is slide your hands down and toggle the little buttons on the underside. All I did was take apart the factory wheel and scavenged the piece that was already there.
No more MX-3.
