Carbon Fiber Wrap-Around GS Spoiler *Feeler Thread*

Post by Neil »

Hey guys,

So this is something I've been wanting for a long time and i figured id start a feeler thread to see what everyone else's interest would be.

Image

A carbon fiber version of the GS Wrap Around Spoiler.

I already talked to Oscar @ Pakfeifer and if we wanted to see this we would NEED 10 people. And they would cost $600 CDN a peace.

But without 10 people its not possible.

Please don't post if you aren't serious. Anyone interested?

I'm interested, but as I've said before. I need to see the quality of manufacture, type of CF wrap and would like pics of a prototype or first run before I commit 600 bucks.

You would have to wait than because Oscar made it pretty clear that nothing would be done unless 10 people were willing to go in on this.

Its a lot of money i know. But it would be a cool thing to have!

I think that it is more than fair to ask and see some work before anyone chips in that much dough. Maybe they have pics of some of their other work. I hope it is not the same guys who made the CF radiator shroud, please verify.

I wasn't saying that its not a fair question. I completely agree with you. I could ask and find out since this seems like a good idea. I will get back to you on this as soon as i find out.

Ok well the the update i got from Oscar was that since the Spoilers are $600 a peace that they would be the same quality as the hoods, and that they wont turn out the way the first batch of Rad Supports did because these are more expensive item and they have implanted some mods to prevent what happened with the rad supports.

I realize this still doesn't provide a picture though. Only a promise.

You can search the Canadian EBAY and the For Sale section of this forum. They come up for sale now and then. I think there was a Teal Blue one for sale here recently.
