Legality of vinyl
Legality of vinyl
I was wondering I saw a cop with reflective vinyl on the side of their car I thought that kind of vinyl would be cool because i know i always notice the reflection of them. Would it be illegal for me to get this kind of vinyl?
Always under construction

i dont see why it would be. it would be no worse than someones headlights shining off your paint.

Well, reflective vinyl should be legal, they dont emmit light, so there's no problem with that. As well, the highway traffic act only talked about "Ministry Approved" reflective material when the reflector is replacing a lamp, but those are reflectors and not reflective vinyl, so in essence, I dont see anything say that they are legal or illegal.

Older early eighties Chevy trucks used a reflective vinyl on the Chevy lettering on the tailgate. It was really cool IMO. Black during the day and red at night when light was reflected off of them.

ZE -strait neck,headers,2.5 exhaust,pheno spacers,lower cross member,GC coils,MS struts,Brembo slotted rotors,filled MS mounts,SS brake/clutch lines, CAI,to rear bat reloc,Hella headlamps,Hella DE fogs 180WHP
I have reflective vinyl decals on mine. Made some "GSR" decals to replace the GS ones on the sides of my car when I put a ZE in. I also have a larger one on the small window on the back, because my windows are tinted and the vinyl is black you really dont notice it until it lights up. I made them when I was working for a sign company, you can get the vinyl in a dozen different colors.
Here are some pics of when I put in some new rotors, you can see what the decals look like.

BTW, I have been pulled over a couple times and they never said anything about the decals.
