Floor Mats

Post by Custom_V6_Limited_SE »

The mats I had were getting worn out and I got some from walmart but they sucked big time. I'm wondering where I can get some mats that are the right size and don't move around too much.

Custom tailored that look like the OEM mats or just a cheap set that works well?

I'm not too worried about having exact replicas of the OEM ones. I just need something similer that is practical.

i don't even know what oem mx-3 mats look like!
if it's the carpet ones that always slip when i get in, that have been in my car all along,
then i'll be damned ...

i went to my mazda dealership and asked of mats from the new mazdas that could fit in an mx-3 and he said none ...

The mats I had in it were not the OEM ones, but, I loved them. They are black carpet mats and they dont slip and they fit perfectly. They are worn out now and the bad news is they were put in by a previous owner and I don't know where they came from :( .

Ebay had some pretty cool looking 'mazda speed' matts with the metal clutch pad. I don't know how good they are, but they looked good in the pictures. Personally I have the Oem matts and they really arn't special. They tend to creep forward over time, and the drivers one I took out because it kept bunching under the clutch pedal. Plus the writing is in teal (or emerald green) and my car is red. Best matts ever are in my MPV. They have spikes on the bottom so they've never moved an inch over the last 13 years. I might try and see if I can add some spikes to my mx3 matts. Then they would be nice.

Ya, the worn out ones that I like had spikes on them too :) . I know what eBay mats you're talking about. I didn't get them because they have red stiching and my interior is blue and black.
