Project Mazda Speed :)

Post by Custom_V6_Limited_SE »

I have been focused on the mechanical aspects of our cars for well over a year now and I am finaly doing something visual :) My dd looked like crap for quite a while. I am currently taking it through the first stage of transformation. Interior. The back seat is currently being re-upholstered and I have Mazda Speed front seats on order along with a Mazda Speed steering wheel and some small replacement parts :) The next stage won't be coming for a while (next summer maybe), but, it will hopefully involve a full insane gloss Jet Black paint job and a Mazda Speed front bumper. Then I'm back to my old self with the power and performance mods :)

then they're probably the ones not made by mazda
which i wouldn't buy...
as a matter of fact, "MazdaSpeed" is not too an attractive of a slogan anyway...

They actually say Mazda Speed and not just MS so I'm ok there. Whether they are actually made by mazda or not I'm not sure. Hopefully they will work out. The seats look like the ones used by Mikee the Skyline killer. Image

Ya, I got the ebay version. I just finished installing the first seat. Are there any sliders available so that I don't have to bust my a$$ for an entire day to install one seat?

i recall somewhere that one of the companies makes one but i'm pretty sure you have to buy the seats also... search it cause i'm sure it was discussed... i am probably just going to a shop to have them make mounts for me cause it isn't too expensive

The offical mazdaspeed seats are well worth the price. I saw a 6yo MS seat a while ago in a Miata and it was in Great condition. He used the car as a DD for the first 4 years then it turned into a soley AutoX car... but dang were those seats comfy and held you in like no other..
