oh yeah got the whole kit 100 dllrs from my brother. Im buying him an eclipse rear spoiler. not bad I need to find a way to neatly install.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!
How those xplods sound? I've heard bad things about them from friends. Everytime I mention Sony subs, especially explod they always say I should get MTX, JL Audio etc. Do the octogonal type shape enhance the bass at all? Looks different fo sho.
Sony stuff isnt bad quality.. at least from my experience.. just usually way over priced. Heh.. just my two cents

Once you hear anything from alpine, jl, or that kinda thing, you'll know that xplods are one of the worst subs out there. The only thing worse are subs like Pyramid and lanzar.
The amps subs and deck are all underrated powerwise. The deck puts out a clipped signal, and the amps aren't very good either. Its good for right now, and for such a cheap price, but when you start to consider that you can get an alpine type R off of ebay for less than 150 dollars, then things change.
If all you want is bass, then go ahead and keep them. If you want nice balanced, accurate bass, then try and sell them to somebody else, and buy yourself a pair of MTX, Alpine, JL, B.A. , Memphis, or something of the sorts. Look on ebay. You'll be suprised in the difference it will make.
If you want a need install, look into fiberglassing an enclosure into your spare tire well..It will give you more than enough trunk room, and will lighten up the load as well. I did it, very easy. One night of fiberglass and it was done. Then just make a top for it out of MDF to cover then entire trunk so it's neat. The amp can sit under it as long as it is properly ventelated.
