I just want to add that Canadian insurance is not the same as US one as it is government run so everyone has the same comapny. Not private shat.
Yeah and how much do you pay a year to your insurance company? ;) I have seen some of the rates that you guys pay up there and likely for what you paid the last 3 years on your MX you could have saved more $$$ than what they just paid out ;) Gotta love it when governments cant do things well ;) Dont think I am picking on your government.. I am picking on ALL governments ;)

Lol yea, I am not sure how much insurance is in the states compared to Canada, If you have a good discount full insurance should be like 200ish a month

I could run full coverage on my MX for $120 a month.. No deductible.. but then I am 38, no accidents ever, and no tickets in the past 7 years. Currently I pay $304 every 6 months for both my truck and my RS. Though I only have liability and un-insured/underinsured motorist coverages. I just try to make sure if someone is going to hit me that they be driving something that cost $50k + ;)

Glad to hear that you came out of it in one piece. How's the physio going? Still intending to buy it back off the wreckers/ICBC? Should be able to turn a realy good coin if the engine and exhaust is still intact. I could use the glovebox and center console outer trim piece.
BTW, Canadian insurance is not government run. However BC, Saskatchewan and a few other Provinces do have Provincially run/mangaged insurance programs and have only private insurance companies available to supplement mandatory Provincial car insurance programs
