Cool deal. I heard with minor modification you can get the V6 alternator bolted up and i work at autozone and everything seems to be very very close. The plug is exactly the same. More amps ya know. :2thumbsup:

haha ya i tried last time but i didnt wana mess it up and void my warranty cuz my alternator has failed before and dont wana waste 140 bucks lol...well i got a new ground system setup before i did the rebuild and got a optima battery so if i really have to then i will just crossin my fingers. i ran into something that reallly sux balls. my dad was pulling out the tubes before i started to take the engine apart the hose that goes from the PUrge Solenoid valve well the plastic part broke off in side the hose?!!!! how the hell do i fix this? am i gonna have to buy another one? Oh with the intake manifold gaskets do i need to put gasket sealer on with it?

You can ghetto rig stuff like that but I wouldn't recommend it. But yeah if you say it is plastic there is stuff that is called plastic weld. It is pretty good. Once I used it when the plastic fuel filter cover on a Cummings Diesel engine cracked in the middle because someone unscrewed it wrong. Basically I set it up on a table and mixed the weld good and basically poored it all around where the crack was and let it sit for a couple hours. When we put it back on it withstood the pressure that gets built up by a diesel in that little fuel filter pocket area.
