CF Hatch Garnish?

Post by Jacbs2007 »

Would anyone be interested in a Carbon fibre Hatch Garnish?
I'm not making it myself, But I'm going with a Navy blue theme for my car with all the possible carbone fibre accesories that are available...and perhaps if there is enough interest, someone could get oscar at Pakfiefer to make some and we could get a lil discount if we get a big Group Buy going. I wouldn't imagine it would cost more then the Wiper Cowl or Rad support, and if it did it wouldn't be by much considering it's a fairly simple peice.

Yeah the peice itself would probably use the same amount of material as the Wipercowl, And it doesn't have any weird angles. It's a nice smooth rounded peice. The only part that I could see being somewhat complicated and time consuming would be making the brackets on the underside.

I would Deffinetly buy 1 if the price was under 200 USD

I deffinetly thought there would be more interest then this...I mean honestly there's interest in CF eyebrows and noone seems to like eyebrows period...let alone CF ones. Oh well. And BoOdog, I could give you 1 for free that another member sent me but shipping would be more than what it's worth so it's up to you if you need 1.

Isn't there someway to get them apart without cuting or breaking something? I was always under the impression that they were just glued or screwed together somehow. I almost bought 1, but then decided not too because the ppl wanted 120 bucks for it. A lil pricey even for a sorta rare peice like that.
