Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I let my wife take my car for a spin and she left it in 3rd as she came to a stop and then panic'd and had it bogging pretty bad  ....I thought o well tho and then took the car for a spin in the lot too but when I shifted into 3rd, a weird noise happened   ...I thought hmmmm, but then did the same again and blew the smithereens out of 3rd gear. 8) OH WELL. Now the decision has finally been made to once again pull my princess off the road and do a complete motor and trany strip down. Plus I need to finish the body! I guess in a way I am happy as I have been really down about the things I have put off that I have wanted to do to the car!
I just have to add that I really need to loose my perversion with breaking things on my cars. I really treat them rough at times!

And his answer........

Stephen:

My apologies for the confusion.

We had a signed contract for the lot and our dates only to find out that the lot owner had double booked the lot, and our first date had to be changed. We tried to post this change everywhere we could, however our Series web site host was on a 3 week vacation, and our site, needless to say, never got updated. I am surprised to hear that you stayed there until 10:00ish, and another "group", supposedly a police force for officer driver training, was not there. I am in no position to question a lot owner for bumping our dates, or questioning any of their booking procedures, as lots are VERY difficult to get and raising any issues could ruin a good thing.

I am sorry that you had some extra's with you to do a personal promotion, and the event was cancelled. I hope you can look at this as an unfortunate happening, and do look back at the fact that we do our best to put on the best series around. I'm sure if you enjoyed previous events, you know what to expect. May 13 was beyond our control.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by,...."Some of which were pretty ticked and left there mark in the process!"

Please pass on our apologies to all of your group, and hopefully we'll see you on May 28 (rescheduled date). Future updates (our web guy will be back) can be found at http://www.wiredmotorsports.com/pitl

Its driving now but you can hear the loose parts inside, I can only assume its a fork right now. I will have to take it off the road soon and swap another tranny but I also want to take the oppertunity to do other work on the car also so I might be looking at no summer with the mstar.

Also Bochek, bad news on Chi...the guy I gave you the number for parts....he sold the rest of the car on Friday...LOL...it figures. Now I also have to look elswhere for the tranny!
