even so, ive seen it many times on show cars and such people using the exterior color of the car and clear coat on some interior pieces, if done tastefully its a nice touch
Have you installed the pillers yet? I'd like to see what they look like inside the car.

Installed them today and took pictures. They look a lot nicer when you sit inside the car. I'll have to take better pictures when its a bit nicer out so the pictures turn out better.
They look like they came from the factory that color when you're sitting inside the car. I was really impressed!
Ever notice anyone driving slower than you is an idiot and anyone driving faster than you is a maniac?

Holy massive quote... Yeh i think they look great.. my only thing is that they are blacker then the dash..(stupid UV Light)...
Just remember that if you get a black headliner.. Fabric-Dye the sunvisors.. They looks so dumb when people paint them...
personally i think the pictures ruined the quote.Cy wrote:Neil wrote:mr1in6billion wrote: I found an exact color match at my local home depot, but it was texture paint. Lucky for me the it was a light texture that matches the grain texture of some of the panels.

But it looks pretty sweet. Are you reCOVering your headliner? Or painting it? I was thinking about doing mine in suede and embossing a mazda symbole in the roof....?
i think im going to find a headliner at the junk yard in better condition than mine (Mine has water damage) Than have it recovered. i will do the same with the visors.

"No no no, it wont fall on you. Lean your chair back and look up"
As for the pictures, I think that looks pretty good. I'm guessing they look darker because the dash has the sun directly on it. I'll post a picture of how my paint turned out once I find the pictures.
