ya those are good for smaller projects but when it comes to a whole car i dont want to be using 15 tack clothes so if any one knows what product i could use other than a tack cloth

 I've herd use automotive paint thinner to get all of the remaining residue off before painting.

Yesterday I wiped down my car with brake fluid eats the clear coat up
today I wiped that off with this fun stuff I bought a 5 gallon drum of...

Gun Wash..http://www.autobpa.com/100.html

Pretty nasty stuff in a small room... but i just rolled the car outside..
Keep a bag of Lint Free Cloths around...

It will eat ANYTHING that isn't real car paint...I found out the guy who owned my car before did a bunch of crap to it..bodyfilled and spray paint...

15 tack cloths for one car ? believe me 1 cloth will be enough for your car and as far as getting a good clean paint job nothing beats using a little elbow grease to clean in the door jambs, under hood & hatch ,gas door and other areas that don't get regularly washed , after washing thoroughly you might wanna purchase a small pocket air blower of some sort that plugs into a air hose so that you can blow off the car & around all seals & then wipe the car down with wax/grease remover ....I do this on every job at work and have only a few occasional comebacks
