check out the upholstery gb thread in the appearance forum. $1050 CDN got me the seat covers AND material to do the inserts. i just got the package yesterday though, so no time to do everything at once. i'm only one man here. :)

perry could probably work with that material. just get going on it because the gb won't last much longer.

Uh no. I don't have $1000 for that. I got kids to feed. My wife's a skilled pattern maker and seamstress, and stays home all day. That equals free + cost of materials for me. :P All that needs to be done for the covers is to disassemble an old pad into pieces and make patterns out of it. Then sew it together. I spent $40K to send my wife to school for this s---, I HOPE I can at least get some seat covers out of it since she doesn't work anymore.

I'll see how long it takes me to motivate her to do mine.

She was doing custom costumes on eBay for a while, but her motivation waned after the first 30 costumes. Although she was alot more motivated when she was making $300 profit each until the demand fell so she was only getting $50 profit each one.

Kevin did you remove the old material from the headliner first? Did you use a 3m glue to hold it on? How are you going to colour match the grey rubber retaining moldings?

no, the old material is a great surface for the glue to stick to, so i left it there. i used a 3m hi-strength 90 spray adhesive available from crappy tire. it's a hi-strength and hi-temp glue. i've already painted the most of the trim pieces off the headliner. the 'oh sh*t" handle is the only piece left and it's giving me hell to get it painted. will have probably pics this week of the completed headliner install.
