Anybody had a go at cleaning the cloth inserts on the door cards? My drivers side is especially manky but dont want to touch it as I know if I try to clean it with soap and water it will just end up looking worse because of the grime getting imbedded in the cloth and you just get that smooth glazed look of dirt lol.

Suggestions or those who 've been successful in cleaning them?

Use a apholsery cleaning machine. Then for soap I'd try jsut warm water first (not hot). If it doesn't do it try some spray on apholsry cleaner and then the machine to suck it off.

When you say 'upholstery cleaning machine' , do you mean a vacum? lol

one of the ones you can rent to do your furniture. Lowes rents them. It did a good job on my interior. Kind of a pain in the crack to get into those places, but did a nice job. Mine were extremely dirty from the car sitting in a filed for two years and the mice not being to thoughtful about where they launched the little brown trouts.

Damn, mice launching fish, what the hell do the mice eat where you live. Maybe the farmer was fedding them some of his steriod spiked chicken feed instead of mouse poison.

Yeah, that is what I meant. One from Lowes, Publix and I think some Krogers rent them too.
I own a Hoover carpet cleaner with a apholstery wand, but they are all pretty much the same. (PS, the rented ones do a much better job on large projects like house carpet if you are planning on buying one)

yea the larger ones do a nice job. I had the bissel and it sucked so I spent the cash and bought the large commercial rug doctor. This thing sucks so hard it'll suck the dirt on the frame up through the carpets!

Mice here are big enough to eat small children.

Hmm whats the differnece? Is a wet vac, like it runs steamed water through and then sucks it up again like a steam cleaner?

I got some stuff from work- I work in a cleaning supply place lol Doh! Well one side of the business is that, so I got some stuff (some pro cleaner stuff my boss recommended) and just did it by hand n then used a wet vac to suck the water out- came up a treat!
