What is required to pass a ontario vehicle safety test?

Trying to get my plates soon, gotta go get a safety done on the car.

What is needed to pass the safety test?

Does anyone have a list?

It probably wouldnb't be prudent to ask a technical type question here because it's always geared to specific geographical locations and regulations and restrictions vary from place to place. Add to that, that individuals would not regularly need to know such information as it's usually an occasional situation. Have you not tried to get it from the source at MTO?

its in the name "safety" whatever prevents an accident or will save you in one. The major ones tech's look for are seat belts, locks, bumpers, brakes, tires, glass, lights, struts, tie rods, wheel bearings, ball joints and no major rust like holes through the body.
