300ZX seats

Post by Aston Wards »

Okay, bear with me on this..., i've just come back from picking up some leather 300ZX seats, now in order to transport them home i had taken out my passenger seat, and guess what? the ZX seat almost fitted in perfectly...., the rails were a little bit narrower on the ZX seat.

These seats are awesomely comfortable, have plenty of adjustments, and the drivers is electric (it also weighs a ton!)
Anyway, i'll have a bit of a play round and see what i come up with.....

 oooooooo, does this mean that you may have to get a second set for the ZX? If these do fit, they may find their way into the MX first which I assume is your daily driver and the other 2 are "toys"?

Ha! not sure, it was just a random thing noticing how close the rails were! i've never seen full leather seats in a Presso before...., they certainly look the part.

i'm actually trying to lose cars at the moment, the Skidda is (hopefully) sold, and the Zed is almost finished, haven't decided where that leaves the Presso...., it's worth alot to me, but nothing to anyone else

when you can pick up 280bhp Jap Imports for as little as NZ$4000, cars like the Presso ain't worth squat!

you're probably talking $7000 for a Zed, but yeah, every now and then some pop up for less, because of their impractical/unreliable nature, owners tend to want to get rid of them quickly

i can't get the currency calculater to work, but $4000NZ would be less than $3000US

*edit* just read that article, that's the price for a 1992 NA from new, i think IIRC, they were the most expensive, exported Japanese car, when they were first built...., not exactly Mercedes-like resale values!

Na, certainly possible, sizewise the seats will fit nicely, but there's more work involved getting the rails switched over, so the seats'll be tidied up and put in the Zed

But if you're looking for some comfortable sports seats for your ride, check out the Zed seats, probably a better bet than Probe/MX6 seats...

Thanks Aston. :2thumbsup: I jumped the gun and recommended them to Franko since he's put a post in the For Sale Forum looking for leather seats.
