Speedometer

Post by p2ery »

I have checked & made sure that the speedometer cable is connected at both ends, is there any hope? Does anyone have this problem? any solutions, besides just finding a new speedometer cable?

Have you pulled the SpeedoGear out to see if it is still good? I would think something else would have gone out before a bundle of wires does. I don't know how to test the gear, but there are only two wires so i'm sure its not to hard to figure out.

My cable was in two peices, but I put it back together, but I think I need a new one. I cant find anyone who has a dang cable for sale. I like in BFE Oklahoma & there are no salvage yards with a MX-3. Autozone, OReillys, & Pep Boys say they cant order one... what do I do?¿
