Pioneer/Premier DEH 840 CD player will not power on

Post by JYOUNYA1 »

ok guys...I thought it was my car, but I brought it to a car stereo store, they hooked it up to their display and it did not power up. So it is definitly something with the actually cd player itself.

It stopped playing when....I put a MP3 cd, it play on my way to work fine. Then when I was leaving for work it did not cut on, I checked the fuses on the wires and they were all in tact, and not blown. My MP3 Cd is still inside the palyer. Please help...I have had this cd player since 2003, and I love it.

If the deck is worth fixing, there's repair shops around. Expect to pay up to $150.

I know around here we have a place that repairs electronics, it's called the MTC or something. Had a few people sent there and it was about $40 to $120 fix the power supply in the deck. Check your yellowpages for a repair depot and give em a call
