KL31/36 CEL checking

i searched and searched, i remember something being said on how to check the CEL on the j-spec ECUs since they dont use the CEL on the cluster, i am getting some really bad MPGs lately and i know my O2s are good, not a year old yet, so i need to check it and i cant find how

According to this post it's the same as far as pullig codes.

i know how to do it with us-spec ecus, i just didnt know what i needed to do extra with the j-spec ones

yea i did, and the second post gave me exactly what i needed without having to sort through unformated posts, jump 10 and gnd (knew that, this is only the 3rd MX-3 i have owned) and THEN jump F and B+ with a LED (check the mods, got a J-Spec KL36 ECU)

Highlight:

Jspec ecus have NO Check engine light and require a LED to jump 2 other pins inorder to make a Check Engine light

FEN + B+ = KLZE ECU LED

so with the led, you just use the 2 wires the have on fen and b? Where do you get a single led from?
