I'm sure you can get clear casing where just the actual bulb determines the colour of the light emiited.

And with the FRONT indicators is it possible to just somehow rub or scrape off the orange tint thats on the inside to make them clear.

theres is no orange on the inside its the bulb reflecting

you can get ones on ebay like mine that are silverstar that are blue when non lit and when they lite up they are orange crazy eh!!! ahah

Does that mean that front indicator lights like these these have white bulbs.

And if it's just the orange bulb being reflected, isn't there someway of matting the inside of the casing, to make it less reflective.

Oh yeah, and a change of subject. Is it possible to take the central brake light from the back of, I think it's the Precidia model, and install it on to a normal MX-3 without that brake light?

As far as bulbs go, since it appears you like to keep the the appearance of the front turn signals as opague or clear as possible, there is a bulb (1156/1157) out there that has a silver exterior coating on it but will illuminate amber. Can't find that link right now, and will try later.
Wrt rear 3rd brake light conversion, I wasn't aware that the E-Spec MX's did not have a 3rd brake light incorporated. I believe all NA Spec MX's came with the 3rd brake light (US and Canada). If Mazda retained the same wiring harness (which is not always the case) in the rear hatch area, it shouldn't be a problem. And if not, tapping into the rear brake light circuit should pose that much of an issue, however you'll probably need tap into that circuit somewhere near the back seat area as it's routed to the back of the car along the inside of the body panel. From there you'd have to route it to the headliner area so as to utilize the junction port for wiring near the rear window sprayer area. A lot of work, but do-able. You'll also need to acquire the accompanying plastic covering pieces that give access to the rear brake light unit also.
Here's a link to Taras's thread to his 3rd light mod, unfortunately the links to the pics don't work any longer, but an excellent mod, nonetheless.

I went to my local tuning shop, to get the clear side repeater lights, and they said that they didn't have any for an MX-3, but they had ones for the Mazda 323.

Could these ones be used or is there another car models lights that would be better to use?

Thanks, but I really want to see if the ones on Mazda 323's will fit. I like the thin, slique, oval shape that they have.

Please someone tell me if they can fit? PLEASE!

The 323 ones will fit. I saw them on the net and they were offered for mx3 but they are clearly 323 ones.

I got them clear side repeaters from a Mazda 6 and they said......they don't fit!!!

They said they would have to modify the hole, but doing this could make that area more likely to rust, but they could use a zinc primer to try and stop it happening.

What advice would you give me, I didn't really want them to cut anything on the body of the car. Is it possible for them to modify the actual side repeater's themselves, instead of the hole?

What do you mean they don't fit?

I have clicked them right in, and so has half the european mx-3 community.

But if something needs to be modded, I would choose to mod the lights, not the car.
