O2 sensor
It has come to my attention that OE 02 sensors are twice as rediculously expensive as they are for most cars. The sad thing is auto parts stores are the same price. I was hoping for a recomendation for a decent affordable replacement.

go there...type in what car you got : ) (mx3 im assume : P) make sure you pick 1.8 ltr.
from the dealer it was 250 for 1! this site has it for 120 and less. Um u can get ones from advance that you have to put together yourself (connectors and wires) fot like..60 or sumthing.

I just want to make sure I got this right.
The scanner said it is the right 02 sensor going bad. A couple people have told me that is the rear sensor. Is this right?
Oxygensensors.com doesn't show a right and left or front and rear sensor. Are they the same other than lead length or are they different sensors?
Thanks for the links.

Re: O2 sensor
You're right, they can be very expensive to replace if you go for the Mazda oem replacement with this particular part. However, I'm unable to direct you to the closest or best source since you've not completed the your profile set-up therefore don't know if you're in CA, US, EU, SA, AU or wherever. Here's the best recommendation I can give at this time. It's the 4 wire unit. Both front and rear units are the same type (not sure if connector cable lengths are different though). This is also the generic replacement for the KL series 2.5L engine (626, MX6 and Probe GT) as well as the K8 1.8L V6 (MX3) engine. g/lyoshimitsuspeed wrote:It has come to my attention that OE 02 sensors are twice as rediculously expensive as they are for most cars. Or you can buy 3 or 4 wire universals on ebay like i did. I bought 4 of each flavour cause i wasnt sure which i needed and knew the others would sell if i had no need for them.
