My current audio system in my MX-3

here is what i got in my car.

Deck:
JVC KD-AR800
• Power Specifications:
• Built-In Power Amplifier

Speakers:
Alpine SPS-170A 6-1/2" Type-S Series Coaxial 2-Way Speaker
two front, two back
• 6-1/2"(16cm DIN) coaxial 2-way speaker
• Peak Power 200W

• Frequency Response: 35Hz - 30kHz

Amp:
Alpine MRP-M350 1 Channel V-Power Class-D Mono Amplifier
• 14.4V RMS Continuous Power 2ohm; (0.3% THD) 350W x 1

• 24dB LP (50Hz) Crossover

sounds good to me, are you just running the two 6.5's off the head unit? ie. no rear speakers?

nope i got 4. two in the front, two in the back.

Do you run the sub box at 2 ohms to get the most out of your amp?

2 ohm loads will wear out the speaker and amp faster. Most good brand speakers and amps can handle it, but just a suggestion to prolong thier life.
Other than that nice set-up, for a NEWB!! hahaha
