1.6 sohc engine swap

Post by AKBoy »

Im a new MX driver and so far im loving it, however i would like a little bit more power out of it. Its a 92 with a 1.6L sohc and im wondering what type of engine would someone recommend for it. Im living in Phoenix right now so there are plenty of junkyards around, i just dont really know what to look for. Any info or recommendations would be much appreciated.

A BP would be the easiest for you and they are readily available in most junk yards from the Protoge LX or the Escort GT. Do a search for BP and like Shades said, read the FAQs.
