Possible exhaust leak? Sounds kind of ricey at 1.8k RPMs....
I have stock exhaust
Here is the problem
When I am driving at about 1,500RPMs - 2,600RPMs after driving for 10-15 minutes, my car starts to sound like a Honda Civic with a fart can. Something like a "wrraaaaaa". Its not loud but its very well heard inside the car. I have yet to hear it from outside but what do you guys think it can be?
Also, I need to know something about the air filter. There is a hose that is suppose to connect to it but I think I have it mixed up with another one. One hose dosent suck, the other does.
There is a small censor thing right by the Air Filter that has a very similar hose except that I dont know which one goes to which.
Do I connect the one that sucks to the air filter or the small censor thing?
Remember, one sucks, the other dosent.
Anyone got a clue what I am talking about?

I had something like this.
Check the welds wich connects the piping to the varous mufflers.
On mine the stock exhaust had rusted straight through the weld.
Think I got a new leak now, but that`s mostly due to a low car and crappy roads

ok correct me if i am wrong on this but if you follow the hose back and if it goes to the egr selinoids WITHOUT branching off then it is supposed to go to the air box. if it branches off then it is supposed to go to the prc selinoid (sensor).

You can confirm your queries by using the on line manual. The "thingy on the side of the airbox is referred to the PRC solenoid. It works in conjunction with the PRC (Fuel Pressure Regulator) and works off of vaccum. The other hose thst comes from the filtered air portion of the airbox is also described in the online manual and I believe it connects to one of the EGR solenoids (EGR Vent) IIRC. These cannot be mixed up. There is a schematic in the online manual that depicts this.
