ok guys i got a new stereo for my car and i wire it up but without the speakers hooked up just to see if it turns on and nothing....the ground wire is connected, got the blue and red power wires connected but nothing happens. any ideas? im kinda new to this so any suggestions will help thnx

Where did you connect the ground wire? Thats the likely problem. But if you've got a voltmeter, check you have 12 V on the power wire - who knows you may have accidently shorted it out and blown a fuse.
