I hit a 14.5@97 at Racecity last night with the ZE and a 50 shot, not bad considering the altitude. I was one of the fastest imports there were onyl 3 more that were faster 300zxtt, turbo celica all trac, and a turbo integra. It was really cold out so nobody was hooking up, and I had massive wheel hop. I finally got my launches down to a 2.27 60 ft and I ran out of nitrous against a stage 2 SRT-4 who was running 14.8's. He got a 14.9 and I got a 15.1 that race I was kinda pissed.
It's definitely not easy to launch an mx-3 with any power behind it. I had to launch conservatively to avoid hopping, and then when it hooked up at around 3.5k then I could go WOT, but I had to watch the RPM's closely because I don't have the cutout switches for the nitrous and if I over rev and hit fuel cut bye bye ZE.
On the 1-2 shift I had to let off the gas while shifting otherwise it would spin into the redline and I would sit there backing off and hitting it while it just spun and spun.
2-3 I was power shifting, and same with 3-4 and right at the traps I was usually at redline in 4th.
I absolutely schooled a turbo miata, and a first gen 626 turbo boosting 15 lbs! Muhahaha
Finally got some times

3736 is Calgary elevation I have heard race city is about ~3600. Calculators show about a .6 - .7 ET difference at sea level. It seems most guys with a little shot on a ZE can hit the 13's so that should be about right. Keep in mind tho I ran out of juice right when I figured out how to launch it. I finally got a 2.27 60 footer and I felt there was still room for improvement. I plan to go out again if the weather permits this season. I will up the jet to a 75 maybe even a 100.
