Team SlipStream / TO Mx-3 Joint Meet Thursday, Sept 1st

Me and John had the idea for a meet this week in having a joint meet with Team SlipStream this week, and I think it's a good idea. We can have a cruise up for those coming up from the west side ('yo) and accomodate the east siders that haven't been to a meet in a while since we've been mostly west.

Late in the meet, around 9:30ish, we go into Montana's to have something to eat (I LOVE their wings) oh, and appetisers, including wings, are half off thursdays (after 9pm i believe), but if anyone ordering the shrimp I'm hitting you over the head with the pan that it comes with.

So lets not have the usual weds meet and simply have it moved so we can combine it with Team Slipstream...would that be cool?

"Murphy's B*&^H" maybe because stuff is breakin' on him after all of the hard work with paint and all. Uday, could you do Mikey a big favour and bring a couple of zip ties and some Meguires plastic polish ..... he's hurtin', oh, an and I'll bring a large old juice can so that we can re-tune Mikey's exhaust ......

How may zip ties we talking about..I have a few in the car right now...and I will bring me Plastix for the shinning and buffing of headlights.

And back to the original question..what broke?

Hey, my exaust is quieter now!

I already told ya, I can't afford plastic polish and zip ties...

(John's just bugging me cause my wires for my neons are dragging and my headlights are faded, though i polished them like mad in spring)

LOL, it's not my inner shrimpness that has issues, it's my inner lungs

The MB comment if about me getting off work an hour later for the meet, it doesn't help that if i would finish work at the right time, i was still gonna be late by a dozen minutes.

It's about 10-15min east of KC.

Off the 401, take Thickson Edit and head north on Thickson, than turn left at the first set of lights, which would be Consumer, and enter the AMC parkinglot on the left, we park in the spots closest to the road

If we want to organise a cruise down, I'll be more than willing to lead.

I'd be up for that! Probably not going to Montanas tho! Im in Colorado this next week - so im cutting myself off from spending any unneccessary money. We meetign around 8 as usual?

well seeing as there was a good turn out on sunday there should be a pretty solid turnout this Thursday as well.

As for a cruise some of us can meet up at KC and then head out to the meet.

i was just about to ask where the west-end meeting spot was.

now will there b anyone further west than mike/krish?

if not, than kc would b fine, but if there's more ppl west (common guys good meets lately, u don't wanna b missing out), maybe yorkdale for 7, then hit kc at 7:30

lemme know, and if there's anyone thats deciding day-of, gimme a call too so i can let ppl know where we're meeting u.

i have still yet to come to an mx-3 meet but i've been at slipstream since the first day. Im in ajax so I dont know if I want to drive all the way down to the west end just to come all the way back, gas is pricey now a days. Mike or John, I could give either of you my cell number and maybe you guys could give me a call when you hit pickering. Then I'll join up for the rest of the way. Let's own this parking lot with mx-3s.
