headwork..

im looking to get the heads from my k8 worked (shaved, cnc port/polished) but i havent had any luck finding a place to get them done? by the way im located in tennessee. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

this is the second time i take off my manifold to clean it and i wopuld also like to know what i can do to it :) but well my car sucks lol i dont know how to port and polish. I do know how to do it on other cars as far as heads biut manifold im lost.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!

If your gonna do that, you might want to think of getting the Curved Neck IM, being that the k8 IM is the most restrictive of all the K-series IM's (IIRC). The ports are diffrent but nothing that a set of phenolic spacers cant solve. Theres a millenia IM that has the longer runners and round ports, i have never seen one, but they do exist.

I just got a quote for flow testing and fixing up heads and they want $200-300 CAD per...is it worth it for the gains you will achieve with k8's?

Maybe get some ZE heads?
