Post by mrmike420 »

Anyone know of any affordable alarms with keyless entry????
($100-150 u.s.) Some don't offer the keyless entry for the mx-3.

Most don't work with Mx-3's cause you have to put in your own motor(s) first

Black Widow Cheap and very reliable. I sell lots of these at work and have never had a problem. You will have to put in a actuator to do the door locks.

you will need an alarm of some sort

and two actuators (about $10 each) - or just one if you already have the OEM power lock in the passenger door.

Do I need a specific type of actuator, or will any actuator work? Do you have a wiring diagram of some sort that I can use as a guideline or know where to get one (free)? Thanks for all the help!!

Ok well for starters no matter how good the alarm No alarm will come with a door actuator. A door actuator is a rather simple install and is ALWAYS an option but, I realy would not recomend a novice trying to install it as cause if done wrong damage to the alarm brain can accur. door actuators are about $30-$40 US. hope this is helpfull.
