Well.. a 94 Precidia RS has the same 1.6l DOHC engine in it that my 94 MX-3 RS has in it.. and I have had my head off my engine and have gone through it completely and no matter what combination of cam rotation I tried would result in the valves ever being at a point where they could contact the pistons.
Sooo.. there is no way breaking a timing belt on that engine would damage the valves or the pistons. Just a heads up...

Timing Belt Please Help!
I just took my car in to get the exaust fixed and i had never been to this place before, but they insisted i get my timing belt replaced. It has been making noises since i got my car but i was under the impression that my engine was non-interference. So they pulled out this little book and showed me and it did say 1994 mx-3 GS V6 was an interference.
So i came home and looked online to double check and i cant find anything that says it is a non-interference anymore. Does anyone know of a website that can tell me for sure?
Someone also told me that you can tell when your timing belt is going by the steering. They said your steering gets loose when the belt goes bad. It doesnt make sense to me but i wanted to ask.
