Just wanted to say hi to everyone.I have been reading for the past couple days and finally realized the MX-3 I bid on on Ebay I am prolly gonna get so I figure I better get familiar with these things before hand.I have to drive it about 250 miles to get it and then back.Sight unseen it's gonna be a scary trip....LOL.Here is what it looks like...
Welcome to the forums man. One word of warning about the MX-3.. You WILL fall for this car.. and it will be VERY difficult to keep perspective on it when it comes to enhancing and otherwise improving on it. These cars are a blast to drive and relatively easy to maintain. As a rookie here on this site.. I charge you with your first duty to the MX-3 community
Polish up those headlights ASAP LOL Welcome aboard.
thanx for the welcome and I appreciate any and all info.I do have a 4x4 that I go off roading with that takes some cash and another car(93 Mitsubishi Mirage) that soaks up cash so this little guy will be another in my list of money pits.I did notice however that the MX-3 has even less motor mods than my Mirage....didn't think that was possible....LOL.
I am power oriented so this will take getting used to...LOL.
I guess I can let you in on the fact this little MX-3 also has 262,000 miles on the clock...LOL.I have to drive this dude from St. Louis back to Indy...LOL.It's only $200 so how can I possibly go wrong...LOL.

Absolutely! Welcome to the board. Good way to pick up a nice inexpensive project car, and it's even drivable (well hopefully). Looks like an RS 4cyl. model. What year?
