whats the bp redline?

when u swap a bp into an rs, is the redline the same, 6500 rpms? or does the bp have a higher redline?

That'll be controlled by your ECU. If you swap ECU's, it may be different. If you stay with stock, it'll stay at 6500.

the redline for the bp w/ the bp ecu is 7k rpm. fuel cut is 7400 rpm.

BP redlines @ 7400, but fuel cut is 7800 so I have read. I would swap ECU's as BP ones are cheap in the j/y and that extra 800rpms are well worth it IMO.

7800 is when the you experience valve float.

Exacly what is valve float? What are it's effects i assume they are nor positive.

If your valves are floating, that means they're not fully closing before the cam starts to open them again. It'd lead to a lot of inefficency during the combustion process with valves being open too early.

stiffer valve springs will solve this.
