Preparing to turbo

Post by Vtechkilla »

I'm getting ready to turbo my 95 dohc 4cyl any info on this project would be appreciated. i'm kind of new to this so i would like to know good turbos to use, fuel system upgrades, and the best route to take for my motor to handle the turbo, i was thinking about a engine kit specifically for turbo at this site:http://www.importperformanceparts.net/i ... mazda.html
also does the 323 turbo manifold bolt right up to the motor?

(BTW i did order maximum boost by corky bell to learn more about this)

Thanks

the 323 gtx manifold bolts up just fine... i don't know anything about that engine kit... but it sounds nice.... you can bolt up the stock 323 gtx turbo stuff just fine and gain some good hp... someone in here is running 13's with no engine work aside from the general stuff to get a turbo working properly

since you are waiting to get your stuff you should upgrade your fuel pump, put in piggy back computer, rising rate fuel regualtor....that way that stuff will be on when u have the turbo stuff
