HIDs for sale :)

Post by LiL-LaW »

they changed the who look of the site on me LOL, anyways I was just wondering what was the type of headlight bulbs you guys use in your mx-3's. If I remember correctly it's a 9006 isn't it? Well if it is I can score you guys HID's for somewhere around 380 cad. I have installed their 6000k kit on my tib and they look great.

Someone get back to me and let me know :)

They kick the crap outta any of those halogen bulbs, I used to low glow xeoen hyper whites and compared to my hids it looked as though they were stock. If you look at the day time picks those are the hyper whites in my high beams

if you mean on the install, there really isn't anything too it, it took me about half an hour to do out front of my house. I can't really remember as too how change the lights in your car, but if there is a cap over them it will make it even easier. All you have to do is mount the ballest somewhere in the engine bay, and then plug these into your existing wiring harness

Honnestly, i would love to see working them before hand...it's just that our headlight aren't projector-like like the tiby's. I'm a, however, very interested.

My concern is not if it's bright, but how well it lights up the road, your headlight covers been to be notorious for not letting the light out properly

well when it's warmer out, today would have been perfect 15 >_< but I didn't read this in time, you could take a trip out to toronto and meet me at my place, I could take one of mine out and stuff it in yours and see if you like it that way, then if you do I could call devin up (the owner of the site) and see if he has your 9006 set in stock, if not you will have to wait a bit, but if he does we can go get em right away, he lives in brampton and then do the install

Our bulbs are 9004's actually, if that'll make a difference.

If they light up like HID's and light up the road better than stock, I'm buying them, no doubt about that...it's just that i've heard alot of problems with getting more light out of the stock lenses.

If we can wait until a somewhat nice night, i'll come up and we'll try them. If they work like their suppose to, i'll give you the money on the spot and let the rest of the Mx-3 world know, we could even take pics, unless you have another Mx-3'er that test them for us. I don't mind spending $400 for a headlight upgrade, but if it turns out no better than getting some sliverstars or the like, than it won't be worth it

Would we still have high/low beams?
