agreed on the cosmetic overhaul..
a lot of the time I flick to this page, either the UBB or MX-3.com and the black just turns me off.. I jus tfind I can't spend a lot of time on a black webpage.. (hmm.. makes me wonder why my page is mainly black.. anyhoo)..
but I rarely bother checking the main page unless I am looking for something specific..
I don't know if there is really much more you can add.. for those that visit probetalk, how many of you just skip straight to the forums? I would say 90%..
I think MX-3.com is by far the best site on the 'net for MX-3 beginners, so don't be removing any of the content.. I think updating the registry more often would be good, that and a new look to the whole site, I'm trying to think of more things you can add, but there really isn't any... the UBB is the only thing that will be updated constantly, so I don't know if the main page would really have anything needing constant updating.. except maybe the links page.. there is a lot of dead links there.. well.. there was last time I checked..
overall though.. I agree with the initial topic..
HAPPY!! :D

I don't agree with MX3_Racer120. Flash & Java is very nice to look at, but Id' much prefer a well layed out simple html site. Why? I can generally get the information i need in a much efficant manner, without having to wait for flash and/or java (even though im on cable).
As far as the website color scheme goes, I would suggest going with something other than the dark pastel/black look. It would be a nice change too!
[ February 04, 2003: Message edited by: zytariuk ]

What would be great is a database attachement with the most interesting and educational posts taken out from the UBB, and also the FAQ.They could be classified on intake, exhaust, ignition... That would help the new guys to not ask many repeted questions on the board.
You can also make more publicity of the Ubb, as I had a hard time to found it when I first discovered the site
