Blinking Light auto transmission, European Spec 1600 aut

As Madhatter before me has, and so far as I know, is still experiencing auto tranny problems, mine, it would appear is quite similar. The blinking light is actually on all the time and has locked out the use of top gear (4th), also I have a loss of the kickdown facility. The codes (62) suggested a solenoid gearbox fault and so a auto tranny expert replaced the solenoids.....lo and behold, no difference. In conjunction with an auto electrician, they then decided the ECU unit was kaput. Once more this turned out to be garbage! To get this far, it has cost me big bucks to be told I have an electrical fault. I NEED HELP!
