If you dont want to do the work, who will?
I could do it but I fear a shiity turn out because of everything Iv seen over the past year.
I set a simple goal of about 6 meets (the first sunday of every month) that members should attend if at all possible, yet they seem incapable of this simple task.
why should I spend time and money setting up road trips and other events when only 5% of members show up (5% of 100 members is 5 cars).
The only time I have a tude is after the crappy turn outs, at the meet we are all happy and have a great time but when we go home and 7 cars out of 100 came out Im pissed.
its still early in the season, and a little chilly at night so it might take some good weather for people to come out, but 6 cars show up and the new people see that, then they might think its not worth showing up the next week for only 6 cars, and it just keep getting worse untill only 2 cars show up.
as for the place we meet, its true that the tims parking lot is basicly shut down now and we do need a new place to meet.
I suggest the dave and busters lot down the street.
If anyone have a suggestion please feel free to post it.

Re: att. TO club members
I dont know if this is partially or fully directed to me, but I feel kinda bad now anyway that i didnt do to the meet, but i did come to the last 2 major meets before that, and im definitely making it to the mazda mississauga meet(s) and the next major meet. Also i did honnestly post that i wasnt comming, and not say i was but didnt show. And if it counts to anything and to prove my seriousness in being part of the TO mx-3 club, i was only 1 of 3 mx-3's that went to ottawa to represent the TO mx-3's, and the only non-rx7 to participate in the sunday (speed) cruise. Oh, and i did pay andrew the website money, twice actually.
[ June 02, 2003: Message edited by: Nd4SpdSe ]

Re: att. TO club members
There is absolutly nothing we can do to even get say at least 25 out of 100 cars to come out on a 'regular' basis. It's obvious that a good 75% of the torontomx3.com club isn't coming out at least once a month because of ONE reason.
He/She isn't into their mx-3 as much as lets say Ebucks or myself. Why? Everyone has their own reason(s).
Just look at the previous annual Mississauga meets. The largest turnout was 32 members (Which was in both 2001 and 2002)! If the guys at torontomx3.com were really 'into' their mx-3's, they would find time to come out at least once a month.
...For the record, i know the couple people who are deeming our group as gay lol. I won't reveal their names though, id' just get flammed. It's very obvious though. That's my .02 cents

Ok everyone I think we all need to calm down a bit.
This is all supposed to be fun, we don't need to get all worked up over stuff like this.
I think maybe we shouldn't have any more meets until the big 2003 Mississauga Meet.

Re: att. TO club members
This is ****ing brutal man, its fun, dont get pissed over it, your right EVERYONE has their own reason. some are because they work every sunday, i.e, myself, some people move away when school finishes and they dont come out in winter because not many people feel like driving an hour in ****ty weather, thats their choice,
for the people that do go, do you guys have fun at them??? thats all that matters, who cares, a lot of people are busy, some are lazy i agree, but not all, if its that big of a deal, Andrew will you please take my name off the toronto mx-3 webpage because im so busy that i dont have time to make it out every week or sometimes once every six months, seriously this is a club, a fun club, so dont get down on people who dont have time to go, whats this trying to prove, to get the guys to feel bad and show up and be grumpy and pissed the whole time?? let people come as they come, ITS STILL EARLY IN THE YEAR! for gods sake, people are just getting their mx's out of the garage from winter, and to the comment people must not love their mx. haha, come on, maybe, just maybe all their free time they have they are spending it modding up their car cause every minute they have, its ripping apart their car to make it look better, well thats my "reason" i work sometimes 7 days a week, about 10 hours a day and still have managed to do my whole interior, and to the couple who knows my interior knows that what i have done could not be done in a week.
all im saying is that everyone should calm down, lets see how many people really "love" their car on june 21st, when i personally think it really matters
later
